Furniture Moving & Heavy Lifting on San Juan Island

The couch has to go upstairs. The piano doesn't. Both are a two-person job.

Not every job is a repair. Sometimes you just need the dresser moved upstairs, the guest room set up before family arrives, the deck furniture brought in for winter, or the whole living room rearranged and you can't lift the sofa alone.

I move furniture within a house or between buildings on the same property: between rooms, up and down stairs, into storage for the season and back out in spring. Pieces that need to come apart to get through a door get taken apart and put back together properly. Floors get protected and corners get padded.

This is not a moving company. I don't do long-distance moves, full household moves, or pianos and safes, which need specialized movers and equipment. For the in-between jobs that are too small for movers and too heavy for you, that's what this is.

It pairs well with arrival prep, winterizing when the deck furniture comes in, and dump runs for what's leaving.

Common questions

Can you move a piano or a gun safe?

No. Those need specialized movers and equipment.

Do you move households?

No. For full moves, use a moving company. I'm for the in-house jobs and the heavy pieces.

Can you take things to storage?

Small loads on the island, yes, as part of a dump run or delivery trip.
